Biography
Shameem Sangha is an advisor and executive coach who works with C-suite leaders to accelerate personal and professional growth. Drawing on expertise in leadership, psychology and relationship dynamics, she serves as a trusted coach and strategic sounding board to senior executives navigating complex opportunities and challenges. Her work is grounded in the belief that sustainable success is strongest when values, purpose and reputation are aligned. Through candid, constructive conversations, she helps clients achieve the self-awareness required to lead with courage, authenticity and resilience. Shameem is known for her absolute discretion, honesty and empathy, combining support with thoughtful challenge.
In 2006, Shameem founded Rousseau to assess, advise and support professionals in the private equity sector, later expanding the firm’s work across both private and social sectors. Earlier in her career, she worked with the leadership consulting firm Spencer Stuart and the strategy consulting firm Oliver, Wyman & Company. She read Economics at the University of Cambridge, is an Ashridge Accredited Executive Coach, holds EMCC Senior Practitioner Status and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching.
Outside her professional work, Shameem has a longstanding passion for music, manages a collection of antique violins, is a sourdough baking enthusiast and an experimental gin distiller.
